Yateesh Contractor is the Co-founder and CFO of reNNovate, he is the business mind behind the brand. His has expertise in finance, marketing strategies, business development, project management, structural engineering, design, coordination, and execution. He has paved an exceptional path in reNNovate’s success journey.
Yateesh has mastered in various aspects of the industry with his credible work experience of over 16 years in real estate, infrastructure and home interiors.
He also headed the design team of first Mumbai Metro Project. Yateesh also catered to construction industry across India and USA with Skidmore Owings & Merill LLP (SOM), BPTP Limited, Marvel Realtors Pvt. Ltd. and CfE offices. During which he played multiple roles, from design consultant to a General Manager and Director. The whole experience has given him a unique perspective and technical expertise of the real estate and infrastructure sector.
Born in Mumbai, This IIM, Ahmedabad alumnus completed his Civil Engineering from VJTI in Mumbai after which he pursued his Masters of Science in Structural Engineering from Texas A&M University through a prestigious scholarship. Apart from this, he has additionally studied Risk Management and Statistical Data Analysis
Yateesh identifies himself as an avid reader and a sports enthusiast. Swimming helps him to relax. He is a strong headed and passionate individual, Yateesh is an incredible partner to Smita in personal and professional life. The duo shares amazing chemistry which resonates in their work as well.

Co-founder and CEO of reNNovate, Smita Vijaykumar is a self-motivated entrepreneur who successfully moulded her passion into her profession. After completing her education as an architect, Smita began her professional career in the ‘nine-to-five’ universe, but soon after she decided to start her own venture in the arena of interior designing.
Smita grew up in Shimla for the larger part of her early life. She completed her B.ARCH at School of Planning and Architecture with first class. She earned the prestigious Narotam Sekhsaria Scholarship and pursued M.ARCH at Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago. Gathering a solid experience of 14 years in India and USA, Smita learned various aspects of the architecture industry and explored her passion for interior designing.
Smita has worked as an architect at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP (SOM) and with Architect Hafeez Contractor, she received the opportunity to work on massive projects with developer like Hiranandani Gardens, Hirco Group, Infosys , Hilton group etc. Later, she joined BPTP Limited as a Senior Manager – Architecture and was a part of more than 10 platinum rated Green Building projects as a member of LEED – IGBC (Indian Green Building Council). At BPTP, she received her big break into interior designing, with work experience on Delhi’s influential persons.
Having completed work for Celebrities like Harish Salve’s golf links home, Jamashp Bapunas Lokhandwala penthouse, Sandeep Bedi’s chattarpur farm, Kabul Chawlas Aurangzeb Road home, to name a few, Smita has a deep understanding of delivering luxury homes. She also worked with vissionaire, longhi, giorgetti, smania etc international furniture brands for builder sample flats.
reNNovate’s association with Asian Paints home décor for entire Mumbai region helped Smita work with sabysachi wallpapers, luxury wall finishes as well as mid- higher income interior homes.With reNNovate Interiors, Smita has been able to build factory production capabilities, furniture building workshop for customization, partnerships with Hettich, Hafele, berger, Asian paints, ddecor, circo , tisva and many interior product brands.
Smita is a member of Council of Architects (CoA) and is a visiting faculty at JJ School of Architecture and Balwant sheth school of Architecture (NMIMS) for Design.
Smita has learned a lot about international designs during her course of experience and is positive on bringing in sustainable luxury in interior designing through reNNovate. Smita has a very modern & global aesthetic in design and looks forward to catering to people of similar taste and style.
